As solo perfromer on Melbourne's live circuit Michelle's voice and style has been compared to that of Etheridge, and In 2003 she fully embraced this and presented "Brave & Crazy" as a part of the Melbourne Midsumma Festival.
The show debuted at Melbourne's premier live music venue The Corner Hotel to over 300 appreciative fans. It then toured to Adelaide and was invited back by The Corner Hotel for a repeat performance in December 2003.
In 2004 she joined forces with Alicia.C to present "Brave & Crazy" - The Acoustic Edition. This show was a special event for Mailing List Members and played to over 200 people at the Wesley Ann in Northcote.
